Favorite Holsters

Having been around firearms for the better part of my life, I’ve tried and tested many different types and brands of holsters. To help those who may be new to the gun world, typically holsters are categorized as IWB (Inside the Waistband) and OWB (Outside the Waistband). I should also mention AIWB and AOWB for the Appendix models. It is important to note each of those are made of many different materials such as nylon, leather, and kydex. There are tons and tons of different manufacturers of holsters, some are great and some are not so great.

My personal favorite for IWB holsters is made by a company named Comp-Tac. I carry their MTAC holster everyday and they are definitely the most comfortable holster I’ve ever worn. They have a leather backing which is against your skin, and I don’t know what they treat their leather with but they don’t simply don’t stain. The longer I wear one, the more comfortable this holster becomes. While being an IWB holster, they provide you the ability to tuck your shirts in around them and still remain concealed. The holster portion is made of kydex, along with the belt clips. The MTAC holster is cant adjustable and should you have multiple handguns (who doesn’t?) you simply swap out the kydex shell with another shell and you have another holster.

They are amazing and almost every customer I’ve sold them to were extremely happy with them. Contact Comp-Tac and give them a try. You won’t be sorry.
