Akila Protective Services and Akila Tactical & Concealed are owned and operated by Dean Gunter, a retired US Air Force veteran with more than thirty (30) years in Law Enforcement and Security. Dean is devoted to his church, his family, and the protection and security of others.

After hanging up his LEO gun belt, Dean established Akila Protective Services (APS) in 2017 in order to provide private investigative and security services to those in need of security. Akila Protective Services provides security services for individuals or companies. Our licensed services include CLEET certified and insured armed security for personal protective services, corporate security, detailed background checks, and church security consulting/training.
